A fantastic vintage 1990s American-style varsity/letterman jacket, made by Astro Sportswear in Canada, dating from approximately 1992.
This striking jacket features a classic black and cream colour combination with contrasting dark purple leather sleeves, collar and detailing. The body has a substantial, quality feel, with ribbed knitted waistband and cuffs and traditional press-stud front fastening.
The jacket is decorated with original vintage embroidered/chenille-style patches, including the distinctive ALPS bear emblem dated 1992, plus basketball and team-style patches to the sleeves. These details give the jacket plenty of authentic 1990s character.
